Ever asked yourself what a japanese supermarket looks like? No? Well, here’s one anyways:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TARx_IsaF0I

A video from DannyChoo, aka Tokyo Storm Trooper, YouTube channel.
I’m a big fan of videos with the everyday life in Japan (because frankly, I’m tired of blogs and mainstream media making Japan look like a weird freak country that only have weird stuff).
I also made a series of post from AkihabaraNews showing random Tokyo spots.
Unfortunately, Daimaou (from blog AkihabaraNews) isn’t publishing them on YouTube anymore… but I’ll try to maintain everyday Tokyo life posts by searching random videos on YouTube!
DannyChoo makes lots of them, and I love them too, so here’s one!

From blog AkihabaraNews, a series of tokyo video tours that I’m a fan of!
Shinagawa is a district famous one side for it’s big hotels always filled with japanese businessman and foreign tourists, and on the other side for having a business district with names like Mitsubishi, Sony, Canon and others.
Dividing both sides is the Shinagawa station, the second in Tokyo where you can catch a Shikansen (bullet train).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neneVSjpLoE

Along with DannyChoo’s Photo Walks, the objective is to show some sights of Japan that we usually don’t get.
And I bet some of these sights will show better why some people like Danny and Daimaou got “enchanted” by Japan, ultimately deciding to move there… and also the reason why I’d also like to move to Japan someday.
Huge help from Daimaou and Danny’s great skills for capturing the essence and beauty of those places (in details), of course. xD

This time the video shows much more of the urban Tokyo. Daimon is close to the end of the video… a traditional japanese gate lost in the middle of the city:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gMuDTMzUd8

Along with DannyChoo’s Photo Walks, the objective is to show some sights of Japan that we usually don’t get.
And I bet some of these sights will show better why some people like Danny and Daimaou got “enchanted” by Japan, ultimately deciding to move there… and also the reason why I’d also like to move to Japan someday.
Huge help from Daimaou and Danny’s great skills for capturing the essence and beauty of those places (in details), of course. xD
